Bjorn Panter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerard van den Eede, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute, Gerard van den Eede ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bjorn Panter was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 17 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's Gerard van den Eede sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bjorn Panter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 20th match minute, The Underdogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerard van den Eede to maneuver through the defense. Albert Oorschot kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Gerard van den Eede scored 0-3 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bjorn Panter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gerard van den Eede took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bjorn Panter. When Gerard van den Eede came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the The Underdogs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerard van den Eede couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Honorato Guter during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th minute, Honorato Guter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, The Underdogs's Jean-Paul Daalmeyer got control of the ball when Klaus Bas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Klaus Bas made a kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind The Dalwhinnie Boys's goalkeeper Bjorn Panter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 54 minutes into the match, Gerard van den Eede had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bjorn Panter. The Dalwhinnie Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerard van den Eede was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Evert Meppelink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bjorn Panter having to interfere. Bjorn Panter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerard van den Eede in the 62nd minute. Rein Pilage kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Jonathan Kristoffers scored 1-5 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jean-Paul Daalmeyer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 73rdth minute of the game Gerard van den Eede who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Dalwhinnie Boys's Bjorn Panter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roel Geerdink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Brito Montemayor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to The Underdogs getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Evert Meppelink hit a great ball. Bjorn Panter was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gerard van den Eede showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 87 minute of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Teo Reintjes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Underdogs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teo Reintjes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, The Underdogs's Gerard van den Eede dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7.
