Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerard van den Eede in the 3rd minute of play forced Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper Zé Pedro Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul van Mol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emil van Fessum during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th minute, Emil van Fessum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zé Pedro Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerard van den Eede, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 19 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Paul van Mol came free, but Jean-Paul Daalmeyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paul van Mol in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean-Paul Daalmeyer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jaap Reitsma hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Gerard van den Eede's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zé Pedro Valadares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute of the match The Underdogs got a corner. Ágætis Byrjun's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Brito Montemayor ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of The Underdogs booed when Ágætis Byrjun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul van Mol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerard van den Eede scored 1-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé Pedro Valadares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 43rd minute of the game Pieter Lodewijks made a throw-in which Johan Fransen played forward. The Underdogs were furious when Fabian Penc was red carded, 47 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The Underdogs made a substitution. Denny Polak replaced Teo Reintjes. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Izaak Achterberg made a kick off. The supporters of The Underdogs booed when Ágætis Byrjun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Zeldenrust didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Paul van Mol came free, but Jean-Paul Daalmeyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Harry Zeldenrust was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ágætis Byrjun's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Underdogs the free kick. A collision led to Ágætis Byrjun getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Harry Zeldenrust hit a great ball. Brito Montemayor, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Izaak Achterberg notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Ágætis Byrjun's Zé Pedro Valadares. Zé Pedro Valadares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ágætis Byrjun made a substitution. Patrick van der Valk replaced Mathias Huiting. Jean-Paul Daalmeyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul van Mol in the 79th minute of play. Patrick van der Valk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Jean-Paul Daalmeyer made a huge save. In the 84th minute, Izaak Achterberg made a precise shot to the right of Zé Pedro Valadares. Ágætis Byrjun's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The Underdogs's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
