Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Humberto Paes started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dário Viana in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Telmo Madureira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edson Mendes might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Telmo Madureira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edson Mendes ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 9th minute, Deivid Cavalcante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Telmo Madureira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Deivid Cavalcante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Deivid Cavalcante put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Telmo Madureira. In the 17th minute, Dário Viana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Humberto Paes got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Edson Mendes made a precise shot to the right of Telmo Madureira. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Telmo Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deivid Cavalcante, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Deivid Cavalcante blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Telmo Madureira having to make a save. When Olivedos's Dário Viana in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 39 minutes, Albertinho Guedes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the E.C 2 Janeiro RS and the Olivedos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Albertinho Guedes hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Deivid Cavalcante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Telmo Madureira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. When Dário Gomes fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored E.C 2 Janeiro RS's protests and gave Dário Gomes a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Dário Gomes got a free kick in the 44th minute. Telmo Madureira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Deivid Cavalcante's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The E.C 2 Janeiro RS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Olivedos were winning 0-6.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dário Viana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goal looked a bit too open when Dário Viana came free, but Telmo Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edson Mendes in the 54th minute of play forced E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goalkeeper Telmo Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olivedos were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after E.C 2 Janeiro RS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edson Mendes took the corner. The corner led Olivedos's Edson Mendes to fire away a dangerous shot which Telmo Madureira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dário Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 57th minute, Dário Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Telmo Madureira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dário Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Olivedos's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Paes came free, but Patrick Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deivid Cavalcante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olivedos made a substitution. Wilian da Rocha replaced Christiano Travassos. Dário Gomes hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, Deivid Cavalcante had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Telmo Madureira. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Deivid Cavalcante was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Telmo Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilian da Rocha in the 79th minute of play. Dário Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Madureira having to interfere. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Haroldo Sanches was substituted for Raphael de Salles. The supporters of Olivedos booed when E.C 2 Janeiro RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Fernando Nunes got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute, Deivid Cavalcante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olivedos's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
