The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes, Amadeo Tuste made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Ernani França successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nilton Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Palmeiras made a substitution. Rodriguinho Carneiro replaced Artur Fonelleda. After some careless play in the Dinamo Web Clube defense, Nilton Soeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernani França. The Dinamo Web Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernani França should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded Palmeiras left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dinamo Web Clube.
