Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Paulo de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elano de Salles in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Milton Friedman came free, but Paulo de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Perivaldo Pimenta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fabiofs the free kick. Paulo de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milton Friedman in the 13th minute of the match. Paulo de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milton Friedman in the 17th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Fabiofs got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Arruda. After 21 minutes of play, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Zac Ba Loua made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Mazza was left in no man's land by his defense there! 36 minutes into the game, Fabiofs's Milton Friedman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo de Mendonça made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 40th minute, Ke Chang Lin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A well-hit corner resulted in Benjamin Arruda heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Paulo de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Arruda in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Zeca Garcia seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Zeca Garcia the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Rio Verde F.C CIMZ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Zeca Garcia had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elano de Salles to make the kick off. With a little luck, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Paulo de Mendonça got control of the ball when Elano de Salles tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bruno Nóbrega charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Nóbrega the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bruno Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Pedro Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Pimenta in the 57th minute of the match. Fabiofs's Pedro Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zac Ba Loua in the 59th minute of play. Pedro Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomás do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Paulo de Mendonça proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Rio Verde F.C CIMZ from getting a goal against them. Milton Friedman took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo de Mendonça. Paulo de Mendonça dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Pedro Mazza came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Zac Ba Loua. But to his dismay, Zac Ba Loua quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Paulo de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milton Friedman in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas França in the 90th minute of play forced Fabiofs's goalkeeper Pedro Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Paulo de Mendonça had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elano de Salles. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gonçalo Massa got free with Paulo de Mendonça in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Fabiofs players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
