Olivedos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zac Ba Loua was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Deivid Cavalcante who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Paulo de Mendonça when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Paulo de Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deivid Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albertinho Cavalcante took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo de Mendonça. Paulo de Mendonça dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 29th minute Edson Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zac Ba Loua in the 36th minute of play forced Olivedos's goalkeeper Patrick Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Rio Verde F.C CIMZ defense, Deivid Cavalcante kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo de Mendonça. The Rio Verde F.C CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo de Mendonça should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albertinho Cavalcante in the 45th minute of play forced Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Paulo de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's attentive Júlio Negri managed to snatch the ball when Pedrinho Prata made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. 52 minutes into the match, Olivedos's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas França came free, but Patrick Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antônio Carlos Valadares hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 54thth minute of the game Zac Ba Loua who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olivedos's Patrick Miranda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 56th minute Zac Ba Loua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 played minutes Olivedos got a freekick which was hit by Wilian da Rocha. Edson Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Patrick Miranda came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Zac Ba Loua. But to his dismay, Zac Ba Loua quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. A collision led to Olivedos getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Wilian da Rocha hit a great ball. In the 67th minute of the match Cássio Pimenta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Patrick Miranda showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Patrick Miranda made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Zac Ba Loua sent off a good shot on target. Zac Ba Loua hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Olivedos's goal looked a bit too open when Zac Ba Loua came free, but Patrick Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
