A collision led to EC Rodrigus MZ getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Edmundo Marinho hit a great ball. Ramón Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Luiz Paulo Meirelles reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Conrado Moreno. The goal made the score 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Murillo Bittencourt notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of EC Rodrigus MZ's Conrado Moreno. Conrado Moreno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in EC Rodrigus MZ's zone, Luiz Paulo Meirelles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conrado Moreno came out of the goal and Luiz Paulo Meirelles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caio da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramón Godoi in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute of the match EC Rodrigus MZ got a corner. Abutres 2003 FDP's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Albertinho Cruz ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Albertinho Cruz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Abutres 2003 FDP's Caio da Costa did a great save. 22 minutes into the match, Abutres 2003 FDP's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Vinhas came free, but Caio da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Vinhas hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. A collision led to EC Rodrigus MZ getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ramón Godoi hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rubinho Vergílio during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramón Godoi was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Murillo Bittencourt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Conrado Moreno was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Albertinho Cruz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 55 minutes into the match. Conrado Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão de Salles in the 60th minute of play. Edmundo Marinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Caio da Costa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmundo Marinho ran back to his position shaking his head. Caio da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Vinhas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the game, Felippe Nunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. EC Rodrigus MZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abutres 2003 FDP the free kick. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Luiz Paulo Meirelles put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Conrado Moreno. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Paulo Meirelles in the 82nd minute of play forced EC Rodrigus MZ's goalkeeper Conrado Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Rubinho Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. EC Rodrigus MZ's Conrado Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão de Salles in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, EC Rodrigus MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Murillo Bittencourt came free, but Conrado Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Felippe Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristóvão de Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Conrado Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, EC Rodrigus MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Murillo Bittencourt came free, but Conrado Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conrado Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulinho Koehler, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. There was no doubt that Abutres 2003 FDP were the better team. Abutres 2003 FDP's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
