Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Fernandes in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Conrado Moreno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 10 minutes into the match, EC Rodrigus MZ's Ramón Godoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Percival Prestes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Natã Nogueira notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of EC Rodrigus MZ's Conrado Moreno. Conrado Moreno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natã Nogueira in the 21st minute of play forced EC Rodrigus MZ's goalkeeper Conrado Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Vinhas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Percival Prestes made a huge save. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Percival Prestes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedrão Souza to make the kick off. Conrado Moreno was a little too slow when Gláuber Cardozo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 1-9. REAL RIO CRVG's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
