Gláuber Cardozo hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the match, Flamengo FSCMZ's goalkeeper Luís Fábio Silveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedrão Souza. Eriberto Schmidt hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute Alfredo Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fábio Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Leonidas in the 11th minute of play forced REAL RIO CRVG's goalkeeper Percival Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Chico Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aquiles Leonidas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Fábio Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natã Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 27th match minute, Flamengo FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belmiro Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. Flamengo FSCMZ's Luís Fábio Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durvalino Sarmento in the 28th minute of play. Alfredo Fernandes had several of the Flamengo FSCMZ's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 33 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Luís Fábio Silveira as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 38th minute Alfredo Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fábio Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celso Nascimento to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Celso Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percival Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Luiz Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Fábio Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gláuber Cardozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Gláuber Cardozo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Fábio Silveira was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Natã Nogueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 93 played minutes Flamengo FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Chico Carneiro. When the referee ended the match the REAL RIO CRVG players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
