In the 5th minute Renan Quirino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráusio Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dráusio Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renan Quirino in the 7th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Cristóvão Paranaense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Renan Quirino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Dráusio Oliveira made a huge save. The supporters of Izaltina FAD booed when Jacuitiba - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dráusio Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renan Quirino, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Rafael Hoffmann made a great header on Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's corner, it was just that Izaltina FAD's Dráusio Oliveira managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 29th minute, Bola Elomo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denílson Faria took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edmílson Santos. Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bernardinho de Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Edmílson Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmílson Santos came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Izaltina FAD's Gino de Lima. But to his dismay, Gino de Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Osmar Donato hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Izaltina FAD's Ronaldão Baiano got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Bola Elomo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gino de Lima made the kick off in the second half. Rodriguinho Gonçalves charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodriguinho Gonçalves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dráusio Oliveira had in the 54thth minute some difficulties stopping Gilberto Chaves's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Gilberto Chaves took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dráusio Oliveira. Dráusio Oliveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ronaldão Baiano kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Izaltina FAD made a substitution. Ricardo Pires replaced Cristóvão Paranaense. After 58 played minutes Izaltina FAD got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldão Baiano. Dráusio Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renan Quirino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dráusio Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renan Quirino in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renan Quirino in the 67th minute of play forced Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Dráusio Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Renan Quirino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dráusio Oliveira. Izaltina FAD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Renan Quirino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Renan Quirino in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal.
