Ernesto Varela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ernesto Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bater Cuca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernesto Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otávio Meirelles in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Bater Cuca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ITAFUT 4EVER the free kick. A collision led to ꑿ.Ꮳ. ꋪꋬℑꋬꇓ getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Bater Cuca hit a great ball. Cristóvão Campidelis hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fred Coutinho got free with João Francisco Loyola in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the match, ITAFUT 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Bater Cuca came free, but Ernesto Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ITAFUT 4EVER's Ernesto Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bater Cuca in the 24th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
