Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luisão Sabóia started the match with the kick off. Inácio Sampaio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruud Windmuller read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Cláudio Loyola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruud Windmuller having to interfere. Valdomiro Nóbrega hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Ibirama Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when João Paulo Amaral came free, but Ruud Windmuller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 minutes Ibirama Futebol Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dário Domingues who took care of the corner kick. Dário Domingues made a great header on Lupere FC - DMZ's corner, it was just that Ibirama Futebol Clube's Ruud Windmuller managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inácio Sampaio in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruud Windmuller saved Ibirama Futebol Clube from getting behind. In the 25th minute Inácio Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruud Windmuller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 minutes, Cláudio Loyola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lupere FC - DMZ and the Ibirama Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cláudio Loyola hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luisão Sabóia got free with Rodriguinho Sergipano in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute Inácio Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruud Windmuller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ibirama Futebol Clube's Rafa Rossi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rodriguinho Sergipano. That made the score 1-0 after 39 minutes of play. Inácio Sampaio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruud Windmuller having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Sampaio in the 47th minute of play forced Ibirama Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Ruud Windmuller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when João Paulo Amaral made the kick off in the second half. Rodriguinho Sergipano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márcio Trevisan in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lupere FC - DMZ's Falcão Tande got a free kick in the 61st minute. Dedê Trancoso was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 62nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Rodriguinho Sergipano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Augusto Novaes, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Ibirama Futebol Clube's Ruud Windmuller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Paulo Amaral in the 68th minute of play. João Paulo Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ruud Windmuller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodriguinho Sergipano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Márcio Trevisan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Lupere FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Edmundo Toscano hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the game, Luisão Sabóia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ibirama Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lupere FC - DMZ the free kick. A collision led to Ibirama Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Luisão Sabóia hit a great ball. João Paulo Amaral took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruud Windmuller. Ruud Windmuller dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Rodriguinho Sergipano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Augusto Novaes went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Ibirama Futebol Clube's Ruud Windmuller got control of the ball when João Paulo Amaral tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by João Paulo Amaral got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
