Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the game, Castanheiro SC's Eliézer da Silveira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernesto Varela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The Castanheiro SC fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Castanheiro SC's Leonardo Trancoso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nando Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonardo Trancoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute Fellipe da Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, ITAFUT 4EVER's Cléber Palmeira got a free kick in the 26th minute. Eliézer da Silveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernesto Varela read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute Castanheiro SC were awarded a corner. Célio Pena went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Leonardo Trancoso managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 34 minutes into the game, Castanheiro SC's Leonardo Trancoso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernesto Varela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Marcelo Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ronaldinho Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Fernandão Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute, Castanheiro SC's Marcelo Eger dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. 55 minutes into the game, Leonardo Trancoso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Ernesto Varela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ernesto Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliézer da Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Fernandão Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Aparecido in the 60th minute of play. Fernandão Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonardo Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Varela having to interfere. A collision led to ITAFUT 4EVER getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Orlando Mineiro hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, ITAFUT 4EVER's Claudinho Rossi got a free kick in the 65th minute. 67 minutes in the game Célio Pena got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. 69 minutes into the match, ITAFUT 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Trancoso came free, but Ernesto Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernandão Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beto Aparecido in the 76th minute of the match. Fellipe da Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Ernesto Varela made a huge save. 95 minutes into the match, Eliézer da Silveira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ernesto Varela, 0-8. Castanheiro SC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
