The supporters of Noroeste Paulista booed when ITAFUT 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Mineiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernesto Varela came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Noroeste Paulista's Geovânio Quirino. But to his dismay, Geovânio Quirino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 12thth minute of the game Beto Aparecido who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Noroeste Paulista's Cláudio Taffarel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Raimundo Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Betão Moura was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 17 minutes into the match. After 17 played minutes ITAFUT 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Betão Moura. In the 21st minute ITAFUT 4EVER were awarded a corner. Orlando Mineiro went to the cornerflag to take it. ITAFUT 4EVER's Orlando Mineiro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cláudio Taffarel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 22nd match minute, Noroeste Paulista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Reis to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute João Augusto Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Geovânio Quirino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ernesto Varela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ernesto Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Augusto Azevedo in the 30th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Orlando Mineiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cláudio Taffarel was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovânio Quirino in the 46th minute of play forced ITAFUT 4EVER's goalkeeper Ernesto Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Geovânio Quirino made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Noroeste Paulista's Cláudio Taffarel got control of the ball when Beto Aparecido tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serafim Ramalho during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Noroeste Paulista getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Serafim Ramalho hit a great ball. Noroeste Paulista's Cláudio Taffarel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Noroeste Paulista from getting a goal against them. Cláudio Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Beto Aparecido sent off a good shot on target. Noroeste Paulista's Franklin Vander was substituted for Geovânio Quirino. Noroeste Paulista made a substitution. Raí Custódio replaced Raimundo Reis. In the 80th match minute, ITAFUT 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Rossi to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Vitório Paranaense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 played minutes Noroeste Paulista got a freekick which was hit by Serafim Ramalho. Thanks to some nice moves Beto Aparecido could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Cláudio Taffarel however easily saved by the left post. After 91 played minutes Noroeste Paulista got a freekick which was hit by Jailson Penha. After 92 minutes, Beto Aparecido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ITAFUT 4EVER and the Noroeste Paulista players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th minute, Beto Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Noroeste Paulista were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ITAFUT 4EVER for a fine match.
