Humberto Pitta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frederico de Salles having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvério Netto during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Merusca F&P - CIMZ booed when Barbie Doll United U23 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. After a rather tough play, Barbie Doll United U23's Alan Gaúcho got a free kick in the 17th minute. Frederico de Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Ian Salles took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frederico de Salles. Frederico de Salles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Frederico de Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Pitta in the 43rd minute of the match. Merusca F&P - CIMZ were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Barbie Doll United U23's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ian Salles took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Ian Salles got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Frederico de Salles quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 47 minutes into the game, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Fabiano Abraão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frederico de Salles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After the first half Merusca F&P - CIMZ were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Barbie Doll United U23's Pedrão Arce quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Raimundo Amorim, made in the 53rd minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Humberto Pitta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Frederico de Salles. That made the score 0-3 in the 54 minute of play. In the 59th minute, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Ian Salles dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. In the 64th minute, Pedrão Arce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Barbie Doll United U23 defense, Fabiano Abraão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frederico de Salles. The Barbie Doll United U23 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frederico de Salles should have stopped the shot. Frederico de Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Fabiano Abraão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frederico de Salles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Humberto Pitta went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. In the 78th minute, Ian Salles made a precise shot to the right of Frederico de Salles. Barbie Doll United U23's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Frederico de Salles made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Carlos Augusto Paranaense sent off a good shot on target. Barbie Doll United U23's Frederico de Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Abraão in the 84th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Ian Salles slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Frederico de Salles. That made the score 0-8 after 89 minutes of play. A collision led to Barbie Doll United U23 getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Waldemar de Godoi hit a great ball. Frederico de Salles was a little too slow when Fabiano Abraão got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 0-9.
