Nicolas Alvarenga started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Cambotinha EC got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Alvarenga. In the 6thth minute of the game Hélder Trigo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cambotinha EC's Ernesto Montenegro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Vascogoianiense FC's Anderson Valladares got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 10th match minute, Vascogoianiense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Segovia to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fiori Coutinho in the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fiori Coutinho in the 15th minute of play forced Vascogoianiense FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 16 minutes, Anderson Valladares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vascogoianiense FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anderson Valladares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolas Alvarenga in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Corrêa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernardo Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. A collision led to Vascogoianiense FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Matheus Paraíba hit a great ball. Vascogoianiense FC's Bernardo Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Alvarenga in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Anderson Valladares reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ernesto Montenegro. The goal made the score 1-1. Waldemar Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ernesto Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anderson Valladares in the 42nd minute of play forced Cambotinha EC's goalkeeper Ernesto Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Hélder Trigo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ernesto Montenegro. The goal made the score 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hélder Trigo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Anderson Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hélder Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Montenegro having to interfere. Ernesto Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Trigo in the 64th minute of play. A collision led to Vascogoianiense FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Anderson Valladares hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the game, Celso Tepedino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cambotinha EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vascogoianiense FC the free kick. Celso Tepedino kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Antônio Toledo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the game, one of Vascogoianiense FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Bernardo Corrêa, was totally fooled by Cambotinha EC's Davi Prata, who 78 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ernesto Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anderson Valladares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Alvarenga got free with Bernardo Corrêa in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Vascogoianiense FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Waldemar Ortiz hit a great ball.
