Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jeferson Nóbrega made the kick off which started today's match. Frederico de Salles came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Galo do Japi's Ronaldo Joinvilense. But to his dismay, Ronaldo Joinvilense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 6 minutes into the game, Galo do Japi's Ronaldo Joinvilense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frederico de Salles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 12th match minute, Galo do Japi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeferson Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Galo do Japi defense, Pedrão Arce kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Sabino. The Galo do Japi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Sabino should have stopped the shot. Barbie Doll United U23's Frederico de Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 16th minute of play. Frederico de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 17th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Joinvilense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Frederico de Salles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frederico de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeferson Nóbrega in the 20th minute of play. In the 20th minute, João Souto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armando Sabino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedrão Arce in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Barbie Doll United U23's zone, Jeferson Nóbrega stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frederico de Salles came out of the goal and Jeferson Nóbrega tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute, Isaltino Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Armando Sabino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedrão Arce. Barbie Doll United U23's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carlinhos da Costa in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Galo do Japi booed when Barbie Doll United U23 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute Ronaldo Joinvilense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederico de Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Barbie Doll United U23 defense, Ronaldo Joinvilense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frederico de Salles. The Barbie Doll United U23 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frederico de Salles should have stopped the shot. Galo do Japi's Camel Pinto quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Zézinho Silva, made in the 41st minute of the game. Galo do Japi's attentive Camel Pinto managed to snatch the ball when Zézinho Silva made a throw-in in the 44th minute of the game. When Galo do Japi's Jeferson Nóbrega in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barbie Doll United U23's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alan Gaúcho was the one to do the kick off. Armando Sabino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvério Netto, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Armando Sabino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrão Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Cícero Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 57th minute of play forced Barbie Doll United U23's goalkeeper Frederico de Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Galo do Japi's Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barbie Doll United U23's goalie prevented a goal. When Laerte Caca-Rato came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Galo do Japi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laerte Caca-Rato couldn't finish the play. 65 minutes in the game, Ronaldo Joinvilense fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Frederico de Salles having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Michel Cannavaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute of the match Carlinhos da Costa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armando Sabino skillfully saved the ball. In the 71st minute Ronaldo Joinvilense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederico de Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeferson Nóbrega had several of the Barbie Doll United U23's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 71 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-5 score and a disappointed Frederico de Salles as he didn't even see the shot coming. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frederico de Salles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 78 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's Ronaldo Joinvilense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frederico de Salles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Barbie Doll United U23's Frederico de Salles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Barbie Doll United U23 from getting a goal against them. Silvério Netto's late challenge caught a Galo do Japi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvério Netto helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Galo do Japi booed when Barbie Doll United U23 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvério Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Carlinhos da Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Zézinho Silva in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Galo do Japi's Camel Pinto.
