Joinville United - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cestarolli FC the free kick. After some careless play in the Cestarolli FC defense, Afonsinho Munhoz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laércio de Almeida. The Cestarolli FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laércio de Almeida should have stopped the shot. Reinaldo Barral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laércio de Almeida having to interfere. Cauan Arce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luizão Hoffmann in the 13th minute of play. After 17 minutes, William Proença mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cestarolli FC and the Joinville United - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes Cestarolli FC got a freekick which was hit by William Proença. After a rather tough play, Joinville United - FSCMZ's Robinho Peixoto got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 27th minute Emerson Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cauan Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cássio Cestarolli was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 29 minutes into the match. Cestarolli FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Gugu Ortiz scored to the left of an out of position Laércio de Almeida, making the score, 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Afonsinho Munhoz to make the kick off. Laércio de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gugu Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 60th minute, Sílvio Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute Emerson Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cauan Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luizão Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. A collision led to Joinville United - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Sílvio Velasco hit a great ball. In the 78th match minute, Cestarolli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizão Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th match minute, Cestarolli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aírton Toledo to maneuver through the defense. Emerson Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Breno Meirelles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reinaldo Barral struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Laércio de Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joinville United - FSCMZ. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Joinville United - FSCMZ had won after a very even match.
