The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximiliano Pardo got free with Falcão Cabral in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. LauerArmy's Falcão Cabral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save LauerArmy from getting a goal against them. Xande Cachorro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Falcão Cabral having to make a save. In the 11th minute of the match, Xande Cachorro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Falcão Cabral was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Teodoro Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Teixeira in the 12th minute of play. If Xande Cachorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 15 minutes into the match, LauerArmy's goalkeeper Falcão Cabral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xande Cachorro. A collision led to LauerArmy getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Paulo Renato Valladares hit a great ball. LauerArmy's Falcão Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denver Volante in the 19th minute of play. When São Paulo da Floresta's Maximiliano Pardo in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hélder dos Santos struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Teodoro Jacinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LauerArmy. Xande Cachorro might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Falcão Cabral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xande Cachorro ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xande Cachorro in the 34th minute of play forced LauerArmy's goalkeeper Falcão Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Falcão Cabral acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 39th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Denver Volante. Xande Cachorro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Falcão Cabral when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, LauerArmy's Falcão Cabral got control of the ball when Xande Cachorro tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When Maximiliano Pardo fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored São Paulo da Floresta's protests and gave Maximiliano Pardo a yellow card for diving instead. Maximiliano Pardo hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The supporters of São Paulo da Floresta booed when LauerArmy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giuseppe Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball.
