A well-hit corner resulted in Ruy de Queirós heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ricart Futebol Clube reached it. In the 47th match minute, Ricart Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luís de Sena to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Juan Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Paz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 played minutes Ricart Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Marcos da Fonseca. Dinamo Colorado's Gerson Mazza was substituted for Ruben Paz. With a little luck, Dinamo Colorado's Vitório Andrade got control of the ball when André Luís de Sena tried to sneak it across the goal line.
