The Ricart Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Simão Duarte should have stopped the shot. Charles Vergílio hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Dênis Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aílton Corrêa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Hermínio Pena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simão Duarte. Ricart Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hermínio Pena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Dênis Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aílton Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Aílton Corrêa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Dênis Valle made a huge save. In the 25th match minute, Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basílio Novaes to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ricart Futebol Clube booed when Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naldo Simão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dênis Valle was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Marcos da Fonseca. Simão Duarte came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Hermínio Pena. But to his dismay, Hermínio Pena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 34th minute, Hermínio Pena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Dênis Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aílton Corrêa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Naldo Simão during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A hard shot by Marcos da Fonseca from long distance, 39 minutes into the match, got Dênis Valle's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aílton Corrêa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adrianinho Furtado scored 1-6 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Simão Duarte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dênis Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breno Araújo in the 59th minute of play. Simão Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Novaes in the 60th minute of the match. Basílio Novaes struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Simão Duarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®. Simão Duarte came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Hermínio Pena. But to his dismay, Hermínio Pena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. In the 66thth minute of the game Hermínio Pena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ricart Futebol Clube's Simão Duarte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hermínio Pena charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hermínio Pena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Naldo Simão hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Simão Duarte threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adrianinho Furtado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Basílio Novaes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s supporters rose to their feet, but Basílio Novaes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simão Duarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 86th minute, Aílton Corrêa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dênis Valle was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-7. The audience was convinced that Adrianinho Furtado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Simão Duarte was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Pedrinho Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Ricart Futebol Clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
