Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erasmo Martins to make the kick off. Cesinha Meirelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dinamo Colorado's Perivaldo Fonseca was substituted for André Luís das Neves. In the 86th minute of the match, Erasmo Martins tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rui de Mendonça saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Caio Vidal during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Dinamo Colorado eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
