Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Wesley Teles took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hamílton Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dani Alves in the 6th minute of play. Hamílton Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dani Alves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Guerreiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hamílton Rezende read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. After 13 minutes Sport Club Mavericks's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Toni Ramos who took care of the corner kick. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind October 04's goalkeeper Hamílton Rezende, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th minute Sport Club Mavericks were awarded a corner. Arturo Filippini went to the cornerflag to take it. Enzo Bertolini made a great header on Sport Club Mavericks's corner, it was just that October 04's Hamílton Rezende managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 21st minute Sport Club Mavericks were awarded a corner. Arturo Filippini went to the cornerflag to take it. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Armando Guerreiro put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hamílton Rezende. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wesley Teles in the 26th minute of play forced Sport Club Mavericks's goalkeeper Telmo de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armando Guerreiro in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hamílton Rezende prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hamílton Rezende didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armando Guerreiro went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 32nd match minute, Sport Club Mavericks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Paulo de Sena to maneuver through the defense. Wesley Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Armando Guerreiro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 35th playminute. 41 minutes into the match, Armando Guerreiro notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of October 04's Hamílton Rezende. Hamílton Rezende was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Armando Guerreiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Hamílton Rezende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, October 04's goalkeeper Hamílton Rezende had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Honorio Efraim. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Honorio Efraim made a kick off. Armando Guerreiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hamílton Rezende read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute Sport Club Mavericks were awarded a corner. Arturo Filippini went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Sport Club Mavericks's Arturo Filippini to fire away a dangerous shot which Hamílton Rezende despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 54th minute, Serginho Quirino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 56 minutes of play, Sport Club Mavericks's Armando Guerreiro made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hamílton Rezende was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hamílton Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Efraim in the 59th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind October 04's goalkeeper Hamílton Rezende, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ruy Lira hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Sport Club Mavericks's Luís Gustavo Coelho was substituted for João Paulo de Sena. In the 65th minute, Ruy Lira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hamílton Rezende stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Honorio Efraim's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. The Sport Club Mavericks fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Sport Club Mavericks's Armando Guerreiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armando Guerreiro in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hamílton Rezende prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sport Club Mavericks's Armando Guerreiro got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of October 04 booed when Sport Club Mavericks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Efraim didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Armando Guerreiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hamílton Rezende. October 04's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Guerreiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. October 04's Hamílton Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Efraim in the 92nd minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Sport Club Mavericks players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
