An unexpectedly hard shot by Wesley Teles in the 15th minute of play forced Breguete FC's goalkeeper Júlio Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to October 04 getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Toni Ramos hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Breguete FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of October 04:s goal. When the match had been going on for 24 minutes, October 04's Egídio Senna got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Júlio Soares. Júlio Soares made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Wesley Teles sent off a good shot on target. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Toni Ramos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Júlio Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wesley Teles in the 33rd minute of the match. Hamílton Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Luís Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Breguete FC were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after October 04's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Igor Jesus took the corner. Ruy Lira's late challenge caught a Breguete FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruy Lira helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to October 04 getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Ruy Lira hit a great ball. October 04's Hamílton Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luís Mendes in the 40th minute of play. Wesley Teles helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Breguete FC booed when October 04 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wesley Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute of the match, Wesley Teles tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Júlio Soares saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 45 played minutes October 04 got a freekick which was hit by Ruy Lira. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Igor Jesus to strike the kick off in the second half. Hamílton Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Jesus, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wesley Teles in the 58th minute of play forced Breguete FC's goalkeeper Júlio Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Ronaldinho Gauch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Wesley Teles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Júlio Soares was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Hamílton Rezende successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Hamílton Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Luís Mendes in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, October 04's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Gauch came free, but Hamílton Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabinho Falcão during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th match minute, October 04 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabinho Falcão to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute Sílvio Luís Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamílton Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamílton Rezende made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Adriano Leite sent off a good shot on target. Wesley Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Breguete FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for October 04.
