An unexpectedly hard shot by Golaki Goiano in the 16th minute of play forced Academia Militar MZ's goalkeeper Silvério Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alperen Bozkurt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando de Andrade in the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Wágner Fox notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Academia Militar MZ's Silvério Netto. Silvério Netto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alperen Bozkurt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toninho Dias in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute, Zachary Figlewski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jataiense Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of Academia Militar MZ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jataiense Futebol Clube:s goal. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Wágner Fox in the 53rd minute of play forced Academia Militar MZ's goalkeeper Silvério Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored Jataiense Futebol Clube's protests and gave Wágner Fox a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd minute, Wágner Fox hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th match minute, Jataiense Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horácio Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. Academia Militar MZ's Silvério Netto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Academia Militar MZ from getting a goal against them.
