Matias Vegetti showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Matias Vegetti was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 9th minute. TaTeRo Boys's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Matias Vegetti scored 2-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ronaldo Ramos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Matias Vegetti took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Ronaldo Ramos to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Vegetti in the 27th minute of play forced Grêmio FBPA's goalkeeper Ronaldo Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronaldo Ramos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matias Vegetti in the 36th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Grêmio FBPA's goalkeeper Ronaldo Ramos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matias Vegetti. If Matias Vegetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pan Yi Xiang kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelinho Meireles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Min Hero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronaldo Ramos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. In the 59th minute of the game Afonsinho Neto made a throw-in which Marcelinho Meireles played forward. In the 63rd minute Matias Vegetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Eugênio Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. TaTeRo Boys made a substitution. Novak Djokovic replaced Matias Vegetti. 69 minutes into the game, Novak Djokovic cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Ronaldo Ramos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Grêmio FBPA defense, Novak Djokovic kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronaldo Ramos. The Grêmio FBPA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronaldo Ramos should have stopped the shot. In the 78th minute Davi Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldo Ramos came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by TaTeRo Boys's Davi Nunes. But to his dismay, Davi Nunes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. In the 86th minute Davi Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 played minutes Grêmio FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Ulisses Prestes. In the 88th minute Novak Djokovic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Davi Nunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the game, Davi Nunes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Ronaldo Ramos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Grêmio FBPA defense, Davi Nunes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronaldo Ramos. The Grêmio FBPA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronaldo Ramos should have stopped the shot. TaTeRo Boys's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
