The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, one of Leripe Lifestyle:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Leripe Lifestyle. A collision led to Leripe Lifestyle getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Valdir Cabral hit a great ball. Valdir Cabral made in the 13th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Borys Soliwoda immediately put the ball in play. Renan Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maicon Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronaldo Veiga's late challenge caught a SORRISO E. C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronaldo Veiga helped the player get up and apologised. SORRISO E. C.'s Maicon Oliveira was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 35th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Valdir Cabral fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leripe Lifestyle's protests and gave Valdir Cabral a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes Leripe Lifestyle got a freekick which was hit by Valdir Cabral. SORRISO E. C. were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Leripe Lifestyle's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cyryl Lemiesz took the corner. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Leripe Lifestyle made a substitution. Percy Cardoso replaced Rui Lima. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sam Huveneers to strike the kick off in the second half. Maicon Oliveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Renan Paraense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Valdir Cabral got a throw-in 59 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Murilo Leal. Renan Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maicon Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Maicon Oliveira notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Leripe Lifestyle's Renan Paraense. Renan Paraense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maicon Oliveira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renan Paraense having to make a save. In the 69th match minute, Leripe Lifestyle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute Maicon Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maicon Oliveira in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Renan Paraense saved Leripe Lifestyle from getting behind. Edvaldo Leal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Huveneers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Leripe Lifestyle booed when SORRISO E. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederico Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renan Paraense came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by SORRISO E. C.'s Maicon Oliveira. But to his dismay, Maicon Oliveira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Leripe Lifestyle's Renan Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davi Isac in the 87th minute of play. SORRISO E. C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Sam Huveneers scored to the left of an out of position Edvaldo Leal, making the score, 5-1. Renan Paraense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maicon Oliveira's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. After 95th play minutes Maicon Oliveira shot 6-1, a short shot which went by Renan Paraense and just under the crossbar into goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Leripe Lifestyle players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SORRISO E. C..
