Grêmio FBPA's Rui Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Vegetti in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Vegetti in the 6th minute of play forced Grêmio FBPA's goalkeeper Rui Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matias Vegetti scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rui Varela, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Grêmio FBPA getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Silvinho Perez hit a great ball. Min Hero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rui Varela. Grêmio FBPA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 14th minute Matias Vegetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matias Vegetti in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rui Varela saved Grêmio FBPA from getting behind. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grêmio FBPA's goalkeeper Rui Varela, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Matias Vegetti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rui Varela was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Grêmio FBPA's Rui Varela tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The TaTeRo Boys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matias Vegetti made a kick off. Matias Vegetti succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 52nd playminute. 55 minutes into the match, Matias Vegetti dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rui Varela, 0-7. Rui Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Vegetti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matias Vegetti who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Rui Varela when he managed to save the team from getting behind. But to his dismay, Min Hero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Rui Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davi Nunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Grêmio FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Davi Nunes came free, but Rui Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grêmio FBPA's Rui Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Min Hero in the 79th minute of play. After 83 minutes, Ronaldo Ramos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grêmio FBPA and the TaTeRo Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Min Hero managed to get in a good position for a shot. TaTeRo Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Min Hero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Varela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Grêmio FBPA's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Davi Nunes 87 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-10. After 92 minutes of play, TaTeRo Boys's Davi Nunes made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
