Didi Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. When Silas Costa came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silas Costa couldn't finish the play. Dênis de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silas Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ronaldinho Alcântara came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS fans jumped to their feet. BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Silvério Barral scored to the left of an out of position Dênis de Amorim, making the score, 1-2. A collision led to Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Silas Costa hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvério Barral in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dênis de Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dênis de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silas Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Renatinho Paraíba fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's protests and gave Renatinho Paraíba a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd minute Silas Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dênis de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dênis de Amorim made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Silvério Barral sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute, Silvério Barral reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dênis de Amorim. The goal made the score 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvério Barral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Heintje Taffarel during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. William Leme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xandinho Bomba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Dênis de Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
