The audience was convinced that Oscar Massa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Percy Palmeira was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. José Augusto Mineiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Matías Carioca took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Percy Palmeira to make any attempt to save it. In the 24th minute, Matías Carioca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guarani Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in JURIDIQUES F.C's zone, Matías Carioca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Percy Palmeira came out of the goal and Matías Carioca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute, Guarani Futebol Clube's Matías Carioca dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. José Augusto Mineiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silas de Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Galindo España hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

José Augusto Mineiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silas de Salles in the 53rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the JURIDIQUES F.C defense, Oscar Massa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Percy Palmeira. The JURIDIQUES F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Percy Palmeira should have stopped the shot. If Claudinei Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matías Carioca in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Percy Palmeira saved JURIDIQUES F.C from getting behind. After 67 minutes of play, Guarani Futebol Clube's Oscar Massa made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Percy Palmeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 78th minute Matías Carioca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percy Palmeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Percy Palmeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matías Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute.
