The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sílvio Luiz Vidal during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Pindorama booed when Maverick Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Luiz Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gong Xiong Fan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Gong Xiong Fan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wesley Meira was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When Conrado Qwinton came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Pindorama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Qwinton couldn't finish the play. In the 29th minute, Guilherme Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agnaldo Massa came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wesley Meira could save by the left post. When Gong Xiong Fan came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Pindorama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gong Xiong Fan couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Pindorama's Douglas Dionísio got a free kick in the 40th minute. If Paulo Renato Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Douglas Dionísio during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes Pindorama got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Dionísio. Conrado Qwinton took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wesley Meira. Wesley Meira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Renato Linhares made a kick off. In the 62nd minute, Gong Xiong Fan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wesley Meira was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Renato Linhares in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hortêncio Duarte saved Pindorama from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Conrado Qwinton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wesley Meira was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. A collision led to Maverick Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Antônio de Souza hit a great ball. Pindorama's Gong Xiong Fan got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Maverick Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Gong Xiong Fan came free, but Wesley Meira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Pindorama fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Pindorama's Gong Xiong Fan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Wesley Meira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gong Xiong Fan's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Wesley Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Qwinton in the 83rd minute of the match. After 84 minutes Maverick Futebol Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Guilherme Duarte who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Conrado Qwinton drilling the ball in to score 7-0 behind Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper. In the 87th match minute, Maverick Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Renato Linhares to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Conrado Qwinton sped through Maverick Futebol Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wesley Meira. 94 minutes into the game, Pindorama's Gong Xiong Fan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wesley Meira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. There was no doubt that Pindorama were the better team. Pindorama's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
