Iker Boruc started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Pindorama's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Boruc came free, but Hortêncio Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Piotr Osikowicz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 5th playminute. Iker Boruc received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hortêncio Duarte came out and tried to block the shot, but Iker Boruc slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 8th minute. 11 minutes into the match, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Iker Boruc sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hortêncio Duarte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Benito Laurin in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute Iker Boruc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hortêncio Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Washington Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Iker Boruc's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hortêncio Duarte was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Hortêncio Duarte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iker Boruc's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute of the match ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ got a corner. Pindorama's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benito Laurin ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s corner Iker Boruc fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hortêncio Duarte quite easily take care of the ball. Pindorama's Hortêncio Duarte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Pindorama from getting a goal against them. 27 minutes into the match, Iker Boruc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hortêncio Duarte. Pindorama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iker Boruc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Piotr Osikowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 33 played minutes, Pindorama's Sílvio Leal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luís Gustavo Prestes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pindorama reached it. 37 minutes into the match, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Iker Boruc sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hortêncio Duarte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hortêncio Duarte was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Iker Boruc capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Iker Boruc really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gong Xiong Fan made a kick off. Giuliano Basso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hortêncio Duarte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Pindorama defense, Iker Boruc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hortêncio Duarte. The Pindorama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hortêncio Duarte should have stopped the shot. In the 58th minute, Iker Boruc left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. After some careless play in the Pindorama defense, Iker Boruc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hortêncio Duarte. The Pindorama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hortêncio Duarte should have stopped the shot. Hortêncio Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iker Boruc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s attentive Giuliano Basso managed to snatch the ball when Benjamin Travassos made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. The supporters of ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ booed when Pindorama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Qwinton didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Pindorama getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Sílvio Leal hit a great ball. The throw-in from Davi Botelho in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Raúl Breckenfeld. Pindorama's Hortêncio Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Boruc in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Boruc in the 80th minute of play forced Pindorama's goalkeeper Hortêncio Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hortêncio Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piotr Osikowicz in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rdth minute of the game Iker Boruc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pindorama's Hortêncio Duarte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Iker Boruc scored 9-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hortêncio Duarte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 94th minute Iker Boruc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hortêncio Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
