After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Tadeu Prestes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clóvis Sergipano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute Hamilton Luis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clóvis Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Osvaldo Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BANDOLEIROS osasco's Clóvis Sergipano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save BANDOLEIROS osasco from getting a goal against them. After 24 minutes, Jacinto Goiano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BANDOLEIROS osasco and the Jumeuc Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th match minute, BANDOLEIROS osasco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Goiano to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Hamilton Luis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clóvis Sergipano was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Giuseppe Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cido de Brito fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BANDOLEIROS osasco's protests and gave Cido de Brito a yellow card for diving instead. Cido de Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. BANDOLEIROS osasco's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Tadeu Prestes scored to the left of an out of position Clóvis Sergipano, making the score, 1-0. 47 minutes into the match, Francisco da Cunha dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Clóvis Sergipano, 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leandro Zica was the one to do the kick off. 62 minutes into the match, BANDOLEIROS osasco's goal looked a bit too open when Hamilton Luis came free, but Clóvis Sergipano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tadeu Prestes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hamilton Luis during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of BANDOLEIROS osasco booed when Jumeuc Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamilton Luis didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 73rd minute of the match Cido de Brito completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cido de Brito a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Cido de Brito hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 75th match minute, BANDOLEIROS osasco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulisses de Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. Clóvis Sergipano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arí Vidal in the 76th minute of play. Hamilton Luis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Clóvis Sergipano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Yuri Domingues came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the BANDOLEIROS osasco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yuri Domingues couldn't finish the play. If Sílvio Luís Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeu Prestes in the 92nd minute of play forced BANDOLEIROS osasco's goalkeeper Clóvis Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BANDOLEIROS osasco's Clóvis Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeu Prestes in the 95th minute of play. Ulisses de Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Leclerc having to interfere. BANDOLEIROS osasco's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
