José do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petrus Catarinense in the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Fontes in the 46th minute of play forced SAO JOANENSE FC's goalkeeper José do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petrus Catarinense might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José do Vale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Petrus Catarinense ran back to his position shaking his head. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Petrus Catarinense made a kick off. Vitinho Maciel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. José do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José do Vale was a little too slow when Petrus Catarinense got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 0-4. 68 minutes into the match, Petrus Catarinense dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of José do Vale, 0-5. José do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petrus Catarinense in the 71st minute of play. Dochko Igov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José do Vale having to interfere. José do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petrus Catarinense in the 74th minute of the match. Vitinho Maciel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. José do Vale came out and tried to block the shot, but Vitinho Maciel slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 75th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Petrus Catarinense kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving José do Vale. That made the score 0-7 in the 79 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Petrus Catarinense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seterma Tractors's supporters rose to their feet, but Petrus Catarinense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José do Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Angelo Magalhães's late challenge caught a Seterma Tractors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Magalhães helped the player get up and apologised. José do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitinho Maciel in the 87th minute of the match. José do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitinho Maciel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
