In the 2nd match minute, Vila Ema Ravens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Luz to maneuver through the defense. Caetano Monteiro came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Vila Ema Ravens's Luís Luz. But to his dismay, Luís Luz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Türker Sonalp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caetano Monteiro. Icoara Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Türker Sonalp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Türker Sonalp in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caetano Monteiro saved Icoara Football Club from getting behind. A collision led to Icoara Football Club getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Thiago Zonta hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Türker Sonalp came free, but Caetano Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roger Brasil's late challenge caught a Vila Ema Ravens's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roger Brasil helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Türker Sonalp in the 16th minute of play forced Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper Caetano Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Türker Sonalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Icoara Football Club defense, Türker Sonalp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caetano Monteiro. The Icoara Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caetano Monteiro should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Türker Sonalp in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caetano Monteiro saved Icoara Football Club from getting behind. After having played for 26 minutes, Vitório de Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vila Ema Ravens's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitório de Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caetano Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Balada in the 28th minute of the match. Türker Sonalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caetano Monteiro having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Türker Sonalp in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caetano Monteiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Türker Sonalp in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caetano Monteiro saved Icoara Football Club from getting behind. In the 35th match minute, Icoara Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Brasil to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Carlinhos Negri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Türker Sonalp in the 47th minute of play forced Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper Caetano Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 50th minute, Egídio Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Severino Domenec in the 51st minute really tested Caetano Monteiro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The Vila Ema Ravens fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Vila Ema Ravens's Türker Sonalp looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Caetano Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Türker Sonalp in the 60th minute of play. Icoara Football Club's Caetano Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Balada in the 64th minute of play. Genílson de Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Luís Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 played minutes Icoara Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Genílson de Queirós. In the 75th minute André Balada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Vila Ema Ravens's goal looked a bit too open when Egídio Lucas came free, but Dráuzio Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caetano Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Balada in the 78th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goalkeeper Caetano Monteiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by André Balada. After a rather tough play, Icoara Football Club's Genílson de Queirós got a free kick in the 80th minute. A collision led to Icoara Football Club getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Fabrício Rosa hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Roger Brasil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute, Vitório de Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Luz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 92nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Caetano Monteiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Türker Sonalp's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded Vila Ema Ravens left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Icoara Football Club.
