After a rather tough play, Clube Atlético Paulista's Manfredo Cerezo got a free kick in the 14th minute. Icoara Football Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Severino Soares scored to the left of an out of position Caetano Monteiro, making the score, 1-0. In the 20th minute, Severino Soares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caetano Monteiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 25th match minute, Icoara Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laércio das Neves to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Icoara Football Club getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Roger Brasil hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Marquinhos Pena notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Icoara Football Club's Caetano Monteiro. Caetano Monteiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marquinhos Pena in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caetano Monteiro saved Icoara Football Club from getting behind. Kauan Guerra scored 4-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caetano Monteiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severino Soares made a kick off. Laércio das Neves hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Caetano Monteiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Clube Atlético Paulista fully deserved thier win.
