Kaká Goiano started the match with the kick off. In the 9th match minute, AF CERRADO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaká Goiano to maneuver through the defense. José Augusto de Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raúl Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladimir da Mata kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes, AF CERRADO's Wiliam Rosa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dieguinho Viana came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AF CERRADO reached it. The crowd rose to their feet as Kaká Goiano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dieguinho Viana. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. After 20 played minutes AF CERRADO got a freekick which was hit by Kaká Goiano. José Augusto de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raúl Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The supporters of AF CERRADO booed when Jereba 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimir da Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute of the match Richard Travassos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dieguinho Viana skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, AF CERRADO's Pedro Cearense got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute, Reynaldo Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Kaká Goiano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dieguinho Viana. That made the score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. When Didi Gaúcho fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AF CERRADO's protests and gave Didi Gaúcho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Didi Gaúcho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Raúl Rocha made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Márcio Cruz in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Augusto de Godoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 53 minutes into the match, Márcio Cruz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Augusto de Godoi. AF CERRADO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Márcio Cruz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After 57 played minutes Jereba 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Hortêncio de Salles. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Didi Gaúcho managed to get in a good position for a shot. AF CERRADO's supporters rose to their feet, but Didi Gaúcho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dieguinho Viana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th match minute, AF CERRADO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Melo to maneuver through the defense. Ramón Paraíba was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 62 minutes into the match. Jereba 4EVER:s Dieguinho Viana showed great skill when he stopped Richard Travassos:s penalty. 64 minutes into the game, Richard Travassos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Dieguinho Viana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Raúl Rocha struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. José Augusto de Godoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jereba 4EVER. After 74 played minutes AF CERRADO got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Melo. José Augusto de Godoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raúl Rocha in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Hortêncio de Salles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jereba 4EVER's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AF CERRADO the free kick. A collision led to Jereba 4EVER getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Hortêncio de Salles hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the game, Glauco Damião was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jereba 4EVER's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AF CERRADO the free kick. In the 81st minute of the match Richard Travassos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dieguinho Viana showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Raúl Rocha hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's goalkeeper José Augusto de Godoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raúl Rocha. In the 86th match minute, Jereba 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hortêncio de Salles to maneuver through the defense. Dieguinho Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Goiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the game, Kaká Goiano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Dieguinho Viana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The throw-in from Ezequiel Melo in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Jereba 4EVER's Glauco Damião. Renatinho Leal's late challenge caught a Jereba 4EVER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Renatinho Leal helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Jereba 4EVER booed when AF CERRADO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renatinho Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. AF CERRADO were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Jereba 4EVER for a fine match.
