Türker Sonalp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Murillo Cabral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Murillo Cabral successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Vila Ema Ravens's Severiano Clemencin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Murillo Cabral in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 18 minutes into the match, BOTAFOGO's goalkeeper Murillo Cabral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Türker Sonalp. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by BOTAFOGO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Türker Sonalp in the 23rd minute of play forced BOTAFOGO's goalkeeper Murillo Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42ndth minute of the game Türker Sonalp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BOTAFOGO's Murillo Cabral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Vila Ema Ravens players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BOTAFOGO were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wesley Carvalho to strike the kick off in the second half. Guga Cosme hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Türker Sonalp sped through BOTAFOGO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Murillo Cabral. 57 minutes into the match, Türker Sonalp notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of BOTAFOGO's Murillo Cabral. Murillo Cabral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 60th match minute, BOTAFOGO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guga Cosme to maneuver through the defense. Murillo Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Balada in the 63rd minute of the match. Türker Sonalp took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Murillo Cabral. Murillo Cabral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Türker Sonalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Murillo Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Christiano Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Luz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Murillo Cabral. BOTAFOGO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Vila Ema Ravens walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
