After 4 played minutes, Ogro F.C.'s Ingo Schwichtenberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Claudinho Rossi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ogro F.C. reached it. Mario Duplantier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Osmar Maciel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Best Will in the 14th minute of the match. Fml Cobiçados HD's Mateusz Bispø got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the game, Best Will was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fml Cobiçados HD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ogro F.C. the free kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Eriberto Siqueira got free with Osmar Maciel in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew the final whistle, Ogro F.C. could leave the field as winners, despite Fml Cobiçados HD having more of the ball for most of the match.
