The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdo Soeiro in the 7th minute of play forced Zuera Never End MZC's goalkeeper Santo Everton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rui Coutinho's late challenge caught a FALCÕES VERDES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rui Coutinho helped the player get up and apologised. Baltazar Tepedino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Santo Everton made a huge save. Santo Everton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltazar Tepedino in the 15th minute of play. In the 20th minute Faas Marsal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FALCÕES VERDES's Thiago de Queiroz got a free kick in the 21st minute. A collision led to Zuera Never End MZC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Válter Figueiredo hit a great ball. Dalmo Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faas Marsal in the 40th minute of the match. After 42 played minutes FALCÕES VERDES got a freekick which was hit by Ramón Carvalho. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Dalmo Sergipano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Válter Figueiredo in the 51st minute. After a rather tough play, Zuera Never End MZC's Rui Coutinho got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Rui Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Benjamin Falcão fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FALCÕES VERDES's protests and gave Benjamin Falcão a yellow card for diving instead. Dalmo Sergipano was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Oscar Prestes. Dalmo Sergipano was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Faas Marsal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Faas Marsal really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. With a little luck, FALCÕES VERDES's Dalmo Sergipano got control of the ball when Faas Marsal tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Zuera Never End MZC booed when FALCÕES VERDES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaltino Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Rui Coutinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Dalmo Sergipano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Léo Meireles lost his temper 78 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 78th minute, one of Zuera Never End MZC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zuera Never End MZC. In the 80th minute, Clóvis Marinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santo Everton was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. After a defensive mix-up in Zuera Never End MZC's zone, Júlio Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santo Everton came out of the goal and Júlio Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Válter Figueiredo kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Júlio Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Everton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Faas Marsal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zuera Never End MZC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FALCÕES VERDES the free kick. In the 89th minute, Faas Marsal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júlio Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Santo Everton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FALCÕES VERDES. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Zuera Never End MZC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
