In the 9th minute Dino de Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamim Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adelino Ramos in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Godoi saved Internazionale-RS from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Until Five's zone, Jorginho Soares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamim Moreno came out of the goal and Jorginho Soares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 19 played minutes Until Five got a freekick which was hit by Jerônimo Paraibano. In the 28th minute Emanuel Baiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Eduardo Furlan's late challenge caught a Until Five's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Eduardo Furlan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Internazionale-RS getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Luís Eduardo Furlan hit a great ball. If Emanuel Baiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 played minutes Internazionale-RS got a freekick which was hit by Rodriguinho Ferraz. When Igor Leme fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Until Five's protests and gave Igor Leme a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 played minutes, Internazionale-RS's Teodoro Costa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benjamim Moreno came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Internazionale-RS reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldinho de Amaral got free with Benjamim Moreno in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute, Ronaldinho de Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vicente de Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Until Five's goalkeeper Benjamim Moreno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Internazionale-RS's Luís Eduardo Furlan got his second yellow card of the match in the 94th minute. The referee ordered Luís Eduardo Furlan off the ground.
