When Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Cássio Aparecido, in the 68th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Nova Iguaçu MZFC. Ivo Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamim Negri, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 71 minutes of play, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Benjamim Negri made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivo Amaral was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ivo Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamim Negri in the 76th minute of play. In the 80th minute Luiz Fábio Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivo Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Nova Iguaçu MZFC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Dudu Queiroz hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Cássio Aparecido made a precise shot to the right of Ivo Amaral. Real Cruzeiro FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. In the 94thth minute of the game Benjamim Negri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Cruzeiro FC's Ivo Amaral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 95 minutes, Luís Guilherme Cabral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Cruzeiro FC and the Nova Iguaçu MZFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 96 played minutes Real Cruzeiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Guilherme Cabral. Nova Iguaçu MZFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
