The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Guilherme Hermes hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Vambola Probach who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Ciro Cardozo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luciano Coutinho got free with Ciro Cardozo in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vambola Probach got free with Ciro Cardozo in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th match minute, Desportivo Coala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guilherme Hermes to maneuver through the defense. In the 17thth minute of the game Vambola Probach who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Desportivo Coala's Ciro Cardozo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 21 minutes into the match, JFSP's Vambola Probach sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciro Cardozo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Vambola Probach reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ciro Cardozo. The goal made the score 1-0. Vambola Probach struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Ciro Cardozo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JFSP. Kléberson Laguna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fülöp Nagy, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vambola Probach got free with Ciro Cardozo in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dewey Crocker's late challenge caught a JFSP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dewey Crocker helped the player get up and apologised. Vambola Probach's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciro Cardozo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Vambola Probach received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ciro Cardozo came out and tried to block the shot, but Vambola Probach slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 35th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Paulinho Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot. JFSP's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulinho Batista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Cardozo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Desportivo Coala's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Daniel Dalberg scored to the left of an out of position Ciro Cardozo, making the score, 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Augusto de Brito to make the kick off. Ciro Cardozo came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by JFSP's Edinson Gentenaar. But to his dismay, Edinson Gentenaar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Ciro Cardozo came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by JFSP's Vambola Probach. But to his dismay, Vambola Probach quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Edinson Gentenaar's late challenge caught a Desportivo Coala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edinson Gentenaar helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Desportivo Coala booed when JFSP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edinson Gentenaar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edinson Gentenaar struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Ciro Cardozo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JFSP. After some careless play in the Desportivo Coala defense, Vambola Probach kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciro Cardozo. The Desportivo Coala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciro Cardozo should have stopped the shot. Ciro Cardozo came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by JFSP's Vambola Probach. But to his dismay, Vambola Probach quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 90th match minute, Desportivo Coala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dewey Crocker to maneuver through the defense. Rubinho Zanette took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ciro Cardozo. Desportivo Coala's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee ended the match the JFSP players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
