Dedé Mazer charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dedé Mazer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th minute, Dedé Mazer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serafim Simão in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caco Mattos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sandy Ogrocki kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Sandy Ogrocki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caco Mattos having to interfere. Olívio Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Sandy Ogrocki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th match minute, Diamante Negro DK - VV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olívio Castro to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Jhon Barcellos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Caco Mattos was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oscar Ortiz made a kick off. Ulysses Neto hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 52nd minute of the match Tomé Prestes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antônio Carlos Cavalcante skillfully saved the ball. Diamante Negro DK - VV's Tomé Prestes suffered a fractured collar bone after 52 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Danilo Fontes fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palestra do Interior's protests and gave Danilo Fontes a yellow card for diving instead. Diamante Negro DK - VV's Sílvio Luiz Ceresso was substituted for Tomé Prestes. Danilo Fontes hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. If Sandy Ogrocki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute Júnior da Silva suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 60th minute, Geovani Leal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Sandy Ogrocki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caco Mattos having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Davi Luis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. William Luz hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Caco Mattos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Serafim Simão went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Caco Mattos was a little too slow when Serafim Simão got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 94th minute of the match Sílvio Luiz Ceresso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antônio Carlos Cavalcante skillfully saved the ball.
