The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th minute, one of Amputees FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Amputees FC. 13 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Esteban Guerrero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Earle Franklin. 0-1 became the score in the 15th minute when Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dean Watts saved Amputees FC from getting behind. In the 18th match minute, Amputees FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bud Bailey to maneuver through the defense. Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteban Guerrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Earle Franklin in the 26th minute of the match. After 29 minutes of play, Elderslie Magpies's Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dean Watts was left in no man's land by his defense there! 35 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Esteban Guerrero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Earle Franklin. In the 37th minute, Amputees FC's Fabian Worsley dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Fabian Worsley had several of the Elderslie Magpies's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 40 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Esteban Guerrero as he didn't even see the shot coming. After having played for 48 minutes, Elliot Rosendal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elderslie Magpies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elliot Rosendal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
