The supporters of Frenchville Sports Club booed when The Obscurials was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Black didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Curtis Mckinnes in the 5th minute of play forced The Obscurials's goalkeeper Conner Castner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Curtis Mckinnes in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Conner Castner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute, Kyle Deal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Frenchville Sports Club's Kyle Deal got a free kick in the 27th minute. When Buchanan Cuddihy fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Frenchville Sports Club's protests and gave Buchanan Cuddihy a yellow card for diving instead. Buchanan Cuddihy kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Edward Magrath took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Black, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Deal in the 36th minute of play forced The Obscurials's goalkeeper Conner Castner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Frenchville Sports Club's goalkeeper Edward Magrath, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adolfo Willding hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Curtis Mckinnes to make the kick off. Frenchville Sports Club's Edward Magrath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Willding in the 55th minute of play. After 58 played minutes The Obscurials got a freekick which was hit by Rob Everett. Conner Castner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Curtis Mckinnes in the 64th minute of play. Rob Everett kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Frenchville Sports Club's Kyle Deal got a free kick in the 78th minute. The Obscurials's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rob Everett in the 80th minute. After a rather tough play, Frenchville Sports Club's Pearce Hickman got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Edward Magrath showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rob Everett, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute, Rob Everett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edward Magrath came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by The Obscurials's Adolfo Willding. But to his dismay, Adolfo Willding quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After 94 played minutes The Obscurials got a freekick which was hit by Carver Jackson. Reese Oconnell hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Curtis Mckinnes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Conner Castner made a huge save. The The Obscurials players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
