After a defensive mix-up in Leeton United FC's zone, Elliot Rosendal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davey Haeberle came out of the goal and Elliot Rosendal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jervis Nurthen in the 20th minute of play forced Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Esteban Guerrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elliot Rosendal in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Davey Haeberle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Elderslie Magpies defense, Paul Paull kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esteban Guerrero. The Elderslie Magpies fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteban Guerrero should have stopped the shot. In the 33rd minute of the match, Carson Sobezak got a very nice opportunity to score, but Esteban Guerrero was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Esteban Guerrero was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Jervis Nurthen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jervis Nurthen really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After a rather tough play, Elderslie Magpies's Guido Villaquiran got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute of the match Carson Sobezak shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Esteban Guerrero showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Carson Sobezak scored 3-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esteban Guerrero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Esteban Guerrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carson Sobezak in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute Paul Paull shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Guerrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteban Guerrero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blade Pincini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Porter Conlan fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leeton United FC's protests and gave Porter Conlan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th match minute, Leeton United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Porter Conlan to maneuver through the defense. Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Davey Haeberle firmly grabbed it by the left post. Esteban Guerrero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paul Paull went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 69 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goal looked a bit too open when Jervis Nurthen came free, but Esteban Guerrero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elderslie Magpies's Esteban Guerrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jervis Nurthen in the 69th minute of play. Benard Millar scored 5-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esteban Guerrero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Esteban Guerrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jervis Nurthen in the 79th minute of the match. Elderslie Magpies's Esteban Guerrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carson Sobezak in the 88th minute of play. After 93 minutes, Carson Sobezak made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Elderslie Magpies's Esteban Guerrero tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
