Carson Sobezak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bruno Domenichetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davey Haeberle having to interfere. Davey Haeberle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mac Allister in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Leeton United FC's goalkeeper Davey Haeberle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Leeton United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Domenichetti came free, but Davey Haeberle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Domenichetti scored 1-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Davey Haeberle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manly FC's Rex Matthes was substituted for Bruno Domenichetti. Lawrance Mcinnis ran over to the corner to take the kick. Manly FC's Lawrance Mcinnis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Davey Haeberle in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Leeton United FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
