After 3 played minutes Elderslie Magpies got a freekick which was hit by George Galvin. Esteban Guerrero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Earle Franklin, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 6th match minute, Amputees FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Worsley to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Amputees FC's Dean Watts got control of the ball when Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Amputees FC booed when Elderslie Magpies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hale Mckinnes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Amputees FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jarrett Maddern was slow to take the kick. During this time Elderslie Magpies's players had a chance to rest. If Elliot Rosendal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Dean Watts managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Elderslie Magpies's Elliot Rosendal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some careless play in the Elderslie Magpies defense, Fabian Worsley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esteban Guerrero. The Elderslie Magpies fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteban Guerrero should have stopped the shot. In the 41st minute Earle Franklin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Guerrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Buchanan Sedgman in the 47th minute of play forced Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Esteban Guerrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Elderslie Magpies players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Amputees FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Earle Franklin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Randle Wilde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jarrett Maddern kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute of the match Matthews Pywell sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Esteban Guerrero skillfully saved the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goal looked a bit too open when Earle Franklin came free, but Esteban Guerrero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Elderslie Magpies booed when Amputees FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braedan Merz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Byron Osbiston hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Earle Franklin in the 68th minute of play forced Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Esteban Guerrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elliot Rosendal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dean Watts having to interfere. Randell Dillon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elliot Rosendal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 78 minutes, Bud Bailey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Amputees FC and the Elderslie Magpies players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th minute, Bud Bailey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, Amputees FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima came free, but Dean Watts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Esteban Guerrero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Hale Mckinnes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, Amputees FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elliot Rosendal came free, but Dean Watts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabian Worsley's late challenge caught a Elderslie Magpies's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabian Worsley helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Amputees FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Fabian Worsley hit a great ball. Elderslie Magpies's Esteban Guerrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Earle Franklin in the 92nd minute of play.
