Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Amputees FC's Earle Franklin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5thth minute of the game Earle Franklin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Frenchville Sports Club's Edward Magrath was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Frenchville Sports Club booed when Amputees FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthews Pywell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roland Luckham hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Edward Magrath showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Randell Dillon in the 13th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Earle Franklin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amputees FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Earle Franklin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edward Magrath breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edward Magrath made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Earle Franklin in the 17th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Earle Franklin in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edward Magrath saved Frenchville Sports Club from getting behind. Edward Magrath showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Earle Franklin in the 21st minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Earle Franklin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edward Magrath. Frenchville Sports Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Earle Franklin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Frenchville Sports Club's Curtis Mckinnes in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Amputees FC's goalie prevented a goal. Frenchville Sports Club's Evan Millar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dean Watts in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 33rd match minute, Frenchville Sports Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evan Millar to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Amputees FC's Buchanan Sedgman got a free kick in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthews Pywell in the 38th minute of play forced Frenchville Sports Club's goalkeeper Edward Magrath to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frenchville Sports Club's Edward Magrath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Earle Franklin in the 40th minute of play. A hard shot 41 in the game by Curtis Mckinnes from a close distance when the talented Dean Watts managed to make a qualified save. Amputees FC's players were relieved. In the 43rd match minute, Amputees FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Buchanan Sedgman to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th match minute, Frenchville Sports Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darren Lascelles to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Frenchville Sports Club's goal looked a bit too open when Earle Franklin came free, but Edward Magrath reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Curtis Mckinnes was the one to do the kick off. The corner led Amputees FC's Buchanan Sedgman to fire away a dangerous shot which Edward Magrath despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Frenchville Sports Club booed when Amputees FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Burt Brotherton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dean Watts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pearce Hickman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dean Watts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pearce Hickman, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Pearce Hickman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Fabian Worsley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Amputees FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Frenchville Sports Club's goalkeeper Edward Magrath, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70thth minute of the game Curtis Mckinnes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amputees FC's Dean Watts was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Matthews Pywell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amputees FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frenchville Sports Club the free kick. A collision led to Amputees FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Matthews Pywell hit a great ball. With his leg Edward Magrath managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Amputees FC's Earle Franklin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 79 minutes into the game, Buchanan Sedgman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amputees FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frenchville Sports Club the free kick. After 80 played minutes Amputees FC got a freekick which was hit by Buchanan Sedgman. Darren Lascelles took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dean Watts. Amputees FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Todd Cuddihy kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Edward Magrath didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Earle Franklin went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Edward Magrath took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Earle Franklin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute Curtis Mckinnes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dean Watts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Amputees FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Frenchville Sports Club throughout the match.
